Artist's Statement
I have been fortunate to have had a life’s journey of creativity which has allowed me to identify with artistic experiences in a spiritual way creating touchstones through art to enrich the soul. As I have grown over the years, my work has responded to new techniques and materials resulting in a rich patterning and patina of culture that is interwoven with threads of life.
Art is a conversation. When you engage with the language of color and surface components on my canvasses, I hope to ignite a spark within you where a dialogue takes place between you and my compositions. Perhaps my art will speak to you about feeling the joy I find in life as well as my concerns for the world around us.
